 The initial anticipation for this study is to affirm consumers of cosmetic goods are seeking a more authentic experience in cosmetics media. It is expected, by analysing existing tools and applications in the sector whilst engaging with con- sumers and industry experts, that consumers will feel mislead by manipulations in the media. The hypothesis that certain cosmetics media is manipulated will lead to findings of psychological effects in society, this will be aided through researching brand behaviours. This study will lead to ideas of futuristic tools and applications that could be used in media.
